Life's a bitch... Thank God there's Harleys...
On 21 May 2008 we removed the gearbox unit of the Harley Ironhead motor of our 1973 XLH Sportster.
1973 Ironhead Gear Box removed from the engine housing.
On visual inspection, the gears and the gearbox of our 1973 Ironhead appear to be undamaged and without noticeable wear and tear.
Looks like we're lucky here!
