Life's a bitch... Thank God there's Harleys...
On 21 May 2008 we removed the rear rocker housing and rear cylinder head of the Harley Ironhead motor of our 1973 Sportster XLH.
Ironhead 1000cc cylinders prior to removal from the engine case.
The inside cylinder wall of the rear cylinder looks very smooth without any grooves, scars or other signs of wear.
We are lucky on this one!
