Harley XLH Sportster Gastank
Life's a bitch... Thank God there's Harleys...
On this page we have collected some photos of the gas tank of our 1973 XLH Harley Davidson Sportster showing the condition in which we bought it.
While we feel that the size and model of this particular Harley gastank would suit our oldschool concept quite well, we are not quite sure yet whether the condition of this 35 year old tank will allow us to keep it.
Judging from the paint on that filler cap, our Sportster did not really come with a
true top notch paint job... Looks like somebody used a paint roller!
We are not sure what we are going to find underneath the paint of our 35 year old Sportster gas tank,
but these cracks are not very promising...
